Draw gives Sidley United the Veterans League

A 0-0 draw in the Veterans League title decider between Westfield and Sidley United at the Knight Davey Community Stadium this evening gave Sidley United the Veterans League for season 2023-24.
The league could not have been closer with both teams remaining unbeaten all season with six wins and three draws and finishing on twenty one points with Sidley taking the title on goal difference which was just one goal better than that of Westfield.
In a difficult season where the weather played a part, the Hastings and District Football Association would like to thank all the match officials who refereed games in the League and without whom the competition could not take place.and hope all those taking part in the League enjoyed the season.
