How Do I Get To The Ground?
There are a number of ways to get to the Home of Football whether you're travelling by car, bus or train. To find the best way for you to get to our ground, check out our advice here.
Travelling by car:
From the north
Take M1 to J33 then exit onto A630 towards Sheffield. Take exit for Sheffield Ring Road (A6102) and follow to third roundabout, taking first exit onto A61 towards Chesterfield. At next roundabout, take second exit onto Sheffield Road B6057(to the left of the Bowshaw Inn). After 0.6 miles, ground is on right hand side. Turn right at traffic lights, and ground car park is immediately on right.
From the south
Take M1 to J29 then take second exit off roundabout onto A617 towards Chesterfield. After 5 miles, take fourth exit at roundabout onto A61 then head through Chesterfield staying on A61 going straight over two roundabouts. After 7 miles, at third roundabout, take third exit onto Sheffield Road B6057. After 0.6 miles, ground is on right hand side. Turn right at the traffic lights, and ground car park is immediately on right.
There is a car park with space for approximately 65 cars. A car park steward will show you where to park your vehicle and the is a charge of £1 for spaces here. If there is no car parking at the ground, there is plenty of parking available at the industrial units off Wreakes Lane, and on-street parking available a short walk away from the stadium.
Disabled parking facilities
There are a limited number of parking spaces for disabled supporters near the turnstiles, within the car park of the Coach & Horses pub (entrance on your right just before the traffic lights on Sheffield Road). If you need assistance, please make this known to a member of the turnstile staff and we will give all the assistance you need.
Please note that all vehicles and bikes (and any property left in or with them) on Club property are left at owner’s risk.
Travelling by Public Transport:
The nearest train station is Dronfield (DRO). This is a 15 minute walk from the ground, along the main Sheffield Road. The station is served by Northern Rail with services operating between Nottingham and Leeds and direct connection to Chesterfield and Sheffield.
From Sheffield, buses 43, 43A, 44 and 44A operate between Sheffield and Chesterfield. There are sheltered bus stops immediately outside the ground on Sheffield Road. You can get an up to date timetable at:
